Creating your First website

Website development is a process by which you can create a new website. There are a few steps which the process comprises:

1. Plan it out. Why do you need a website? are you willing to sell something or is it going to represent your company or will it just be an informational website. Select the motive of your website, which is very important as everything revolves around it.
2. Content to be included in the website. What type of content you want to inlcude in the website? Will it be completely pictures, like Pinterest or text or a combination of both?
3. Design. what is the design? Yes, we know you know it but still we want to share this information with people who are very new to website development. Design is the interface that users can see when they visit your website. Design is something that will be actually visible to the users. Finally users will see the design and teh content of your website.
4. Finally, development. Development includes all the coding part that is done to craete a functionality or to make that website design in a working state.
5. Testing, in this you will test if the website is working as intended.
6. Hosting. You need a domain name which is a URL that users need to type in their browser to reach to your website. In hosting you will put your website on internet and it will get live to everybody.
7. Marketing. As the name suggest, market your website to the target audience. We have discussed this step in almost every blog of ours. Please do check to get better understanding.
8. Finally check the performance of your website on regular basis so that it can turn out to be a successfull venture for you.

Develop your First website

Incase you are outsourcing your website development project to some company, you need to understand the process mentioend below:

1. Define the objective of the project. An example to understand this point would be, 1. To develop an Ecommerce website for selling books.
2. Project Team. There are many people who are working on your website development project. a). project Manager ( he is teh main perosn who is handling your website development team on your behalf). b). Designer ( he will design your website) c). developer ( he will code your website and make it functionable). d). Tester, he will test your website and make it bug free and perform seamlessly. Apart from these positions you might also need a content writer to write teh content for your website.
3. Budget. Your website need to should be in accordance to your budget. by this I mean , in case you have a huge budget you can develop a proper and complete solution. For eg. yu can add even chat to your ecommerce website. But if your budget is not that much , you can start with few pages and important functionality and with passing time keep on upgrading teh website.
4. Timeframe. Time frame of the project completely depend upon your requirement. The project manager assigend to your project will share a time frame with you.
5. Risk Assessment. The team that you are hiring will ofcourse do all teh necessary risk assesment for you. but we would suggest you to proactively think of few risks at your end and ask the developent team proactively.
6. Updates. Get weekly updates from your development team and maintain proper communication with them so that yo can track teh progress made on your project.
