Step by step guide for keword research
The success or failure of any PPC campaign for Search Engine optimzation campaign depends upon the keywords that we choose. The process by which we are searching for keywords for our campaign is known as Keyword Research Process.
What is a keyword?
Keyword is a word or a phrase which the users use to look for a certain product or services in Google, bing or any other search Engine. The words that we type in the Google search bar while searching for anything online are the keywords. The keywords that are frequently chceked by users are highly competitive in comparison to the keywords that are not most used.
Types Of Keywords:
  1. Head Terms: these are the keywords which are single words like shoes, bags etc. These words have very low competition
  2. Body: these keywords include only two words, like women bags.
  3. Long tail keyowrds: this is are the most relevant keywords and include phrases. These are also highly competitive.
Tools used For Keyword research:
  1. Google keyword planner
  2. LSI Graph
  3. Ubersugest
  4. SEMrush
  5. Keyword Spy
Process for Keyword Resaerch:
  1. Prepare an excel sheet
  2. focus on the services or products that your company is providing. For eg E-commerce etc
  3. research on keyword options based on ecommerce. Select long tail keywords like: Ecommerce development companies.
  4. Check competition online
  5. Check online that for those selected keywords which companies are ranking on top.
